This week's stop on the Central Wisconsin Golf Card tour brings us to Shawano Lake Golf Course.
While many of the courses we've profiled cater more to the casual golfer, Shawano Lake is not for the faint of heart.
"Shawano Lake is a golf course that is tight, we've got small greens. You have to be able to shape your ball pretty well to get around this course. The greens being small, if you can hit our greens, you'd be able to play any course around the area," said Matt Schroeder, the general manager at Shawano Lake.
The 18-hole course measures in at 6,800 yards, which is a bit shorter than average.
But they make it for it with challenging, and often tight, fairways.
"We just have a good tourist town here. Our course, although short, it's tricky to play. It's the old country club. When you talk about old country club courses, we're one of them."
