Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Northland Pines boys hockey will be playing on championship Saturday.

They shellacked the #3 seed 9-2. Gunnar Schuffmann and Harmon Marien scored two goals apiece, and five other players chipped in a goal to give Pines a chance to win their first state title since 1989.

#2 Northland Pines will face the top seed, St. Mary's Springs, Saturday morning at 9:30 for the state championship.

That game will be broadcast right here on News 9.
