Wausau RiverWolves hold teddy bear toss at their game

WAUSAU, WIS. (WAOW)-- The Wausau RiverWolves held a teddy bear toss at their game Friday evening.

109 bears rained down on the ice. The bears collected will be given to the Salvation Army.

"Since it's happening your first goal of the game people are really in to the game it's not like causal watching people are actively watching the game and anticipating that first goal to throw the teddy bears," said Zach Serwe, the Director of Business Operations for the team.

This was the third year the team has had a teddy bear toss.
