Oneida Co. (WAOW) - An Oneida Co. man is found guilty of hitting and killing a 23-year-old on Aug. 23.
Holstlander was on his motorcycle at the time and Liebscher took off from the scene. Court documents say Liebscher knew he hit him but didn’t know what to do.
Liebscher was facing two felony charges. However, he reached a plea deal with prosecutors dropping one of the charges.
He has now been convicted of a hit-and-run involving death. He faces 25 years in prison. The charge that was dropped came with a maximum sentence of 10 years.
Liebscher will be sentenced Apr. 20.
