Spencer PD K9 gets protective vest

Spencer, Wis. (WAOW)-- A K-9 with the Spencer Police Department now has a protective vest to wear while on duty.

In a post on their Facebook page, the department says K-9 Ella was outfitted with the ballistic vest thanks to Wisconsin Vest-A-Dog.

The group also donated a K-9 first aid kit.
