New patch created to help people aiming to give up meat

(WAOW/CNN) -- If you're looking to give up meat, a new, interesting product may help.

What is it, you ask? None other than the 'meat patch.'

The patch looks and is supposed to perform similarly to the nicotine patches used to diminish symptoms related to quitting smoking.

Users wear the patch on their arm and, if an itch presents itself, creator Strong Roots says scratching the patch will release a bacon scent that studies show can reduce food cravings, according to a professor at Oxford University.

Unfortunately for those looking to give the patch a try, the patch is exclusively available in the United Kingdom, according to Strong Roots.
