GREEN BAY, Wis. (WISN) — The official Twitter accounts of several NFL teams and the league itself appear to have been hacked.
Hackers took control of up to 15 accounts Monday afternoon, according to @MySportsUpdate.
Most teams appear to have regained control of the accounts, but the Packers still appear to be locked out.
The hackers removed the Packers profile photo and tweeted from the account.
"We are here to show people that everything is hackable," the tweet reads in part. It goes on as an offer to help secure Twitter accounts.
The tweet was sent from the Packers account at 12:42 p.m.
The hackers took to Twitter to boast about gaining control of popular accounts.
The Packers Facebook and Instagram accounts do not appear to have been affected.
The Packers have not yet commented on the situation.
