WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW) -- It was perfect weather Saturday afternoon for the annual Winter Fest in Wausau.
Wausau Events host Winter Fest every year as a way to relieve cabin fever. Dozens of people gathered on the 400 block for a day full of free activities including curling, ice skating, and even fat tire bike demos.
"This is really our winter weekend of celebrating living in Wisconsin doing a lot of different aspects I mean when you look at what we have out here when you talk about ice skating when you talk about curling when you talk about the fat tire biking and then you talk about what we have inside we've got really something for everyone," said Pete Valiska, Board President, Wausau Events.
Along with the Fest is The Neighbors' Place 'Ice Tee Classic' inside the Wausau Center Mall, which is going on all weekend.
