WESTON, Wis. (WAOW) -- Sunday afternoon, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner took time to talk about the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Sensenbrenner is a former Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and has been involved with recent impeachment talks. President Trump has been impeached, but the trial to determine if he will stay in office begins next week.
"Two-thirds of the Senate is not going to vote to remove him from office. There's a lot of time and a lot of money that has been wasted, we shouldn't be using impeachment just because we don't like who won the last election," said Congressman Sensenbrenner.
The impeachment trial will likely resume Tuesday.
