WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW)-- Mid-State Truck Service and their Trucker for Tots program has returned for an 11th year.
This is the third year that the program has been in Marathon County.
With help from partners in the transportation industry, $33,300 were collected to help purchase new toys.
Of that money collected, $5,500 was spent at the Fleet Farm in Wausau to purchase toys for the Marathon County Toys for Tots Program.
"We get a lot of engagement here and our partners too come out with their employees and we have like fifteen to twenty people sometimes at some of our events. That just fills you know several carts spending several hundred dollars each person," said Amie Gruetzmacher the marketing manager for Mid-State Truck Service.
Some of the more popular items included books as well as fishing and camping supplies.
