WAUKESHA, Wis. — Three people have been taken into police custody after a threat at Waukesha North High School.
Waukesha police said the school was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon.
It was lifted a short time later and all students were safe.
No injuries have been reported.
Investigators said the school was searched.
It’s not clear if anything was found.
Police said the student was found at a home in Waukesha and taken into custody.
A confrontation at the home caused a SWAT standoff.
Officers ordered one person to come out of a home with their hands up.
Investigators have not identified those taken into custody.
They said the threat may have involved an airsoft gun.
It’s not clear whether it was ever on the Waukesha North campus.
Officials have not released any other details.
Police do not believe the lockdown and standoff were related to a shooting earlier at Waukesha South High School.
