STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WAOW) — Worzalla Publishing held a groundbreaking event on Wednesday to start phase one of their expansion plans.
In October, the company announced it was investing $12.5 million in new machinery and capital improvements to the company’s headquarters building.
The investment is expected to create 50 new jobs and the company expects at least a 30% increase in production levels.
The plan consists of three parts, beginning with adding 50,000 square feet to the headquarters — an increase of 20%. That new space will house paper storage and additional bindery equipment. The plan also includes a new Heidelberg 106 press and Kolbus perfect binder.
The company anticipates construction to be completed in late spring of 2020.
