A wave of low pressure will approach Wisconsin overnight, then track through Sunday. Light snow is expected to develop into the area overnight, and continue Sunday. Rain may mix-in especially to the south of Wausau Sunday. Accumulations of an inch or two will be possible. The snow will likely diminish to drizzle by late afternoon and evening.
The somewhat milder pattern will continue through mid week, along with plenty of cloud cover.
Flurries or sprinkles could occur Monday night and Tuesday.
A low pressure system is forecast to track from the Plains into the Great Lakes region later Wednesday and Thursday. There is some uncertainty with the track of the system, which will determine whether snow, rain, or a mix occurs in the area. A bit cooler trend is expected through the end of the week.
Have a splendid Sunday! Meteorologist Mike Breunling
