Portage Co. Crime Stoppers: Theft

ALMOND (WAOW) – Portage County Crime Stoppers is searching for clues in a theft that happened in Almond.

Investigators say two thieves broke into the vacant restaurant and apartment building at 150 Main Street.

“On September 27 the owner discovered $3500 worth of tools missing,” Sheriff Mike Lukas said.

The sheriff provided the following list of stolen Dewalt tools:

Planer

Sliding compound miter saw

6 gallon pancake air compressor

18 gauge nail gun

Plunge router

24 piece router bit set in case

8 gallon twin cylinder compressor

The thieves also tipped over a Craftsman joiner and damaged it.
