“This designation is not just something we receive and then it’s done and over with, but its something that we will continually maintain. So, maintaining the requirements to be storm ready which includes alerting students, continually raising that awareness about severe weather and making sure that they’re personally prepared as well,” said Corinna Neeb, Emergency Management Specialist at UWSP.
StormReady provides communities with improved communication by sending alerts to students and staff as well as providing safety skills needed during severe weather situations.
