The weather will be turning cooler-then-normal for a few days but it will still be very nice. Be sure to enjoy the mainly dry conditions all the way through the weekend.
A cold front moved through the area early today and that is bringing in less humid conditions along with slightly cooler temps. It will be a little cooler but still quite nice for this time of year with high temps in the low to mid 70s. Skies will be partly or mostly sunny and winds will be out of the northwest at 10-15 mph.
High pressure is taking control of the weather today and it will stick around all the way through Sunday. This means more cool nights and comfortable days. Thursday will be the coolest day of the week with a northeast wind and more cloud cover. High temps will be in the 60s for most of the area with some low 70s in the south. It will definitely feel like Autumn.
Friday morning will be the coolest morning in this stretch with lows in the 30s in the Northwoods and in the cranberry bogs and in the 40s elsewhere. Otherwise there will be a good amount of sun on Friday with highs in the low 70s. On Saturday and Sunday there should be a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 70s.
On Sunday evening a trough of low pressure will approach from the west and bring a small chance of showers or storms. This chance of rain will increase to 40% on Monday with the trough moving through the state. A cold front following the trough on Tuesday will produce another small chance of showers and storms. The weather will be a little humid on Monday with high in the upper 70s. By the middle of next week conditions should less humid once again.
