A fairly seasonal weather pattern will continue for the next few days. This includes a brief spell of refreshing weather late this week and a couple of thunderstorm chances.
Today will be a little less humid and there should be a good amount of sunshine after the fog burns off this morning. Overall, it will be a nice Summer day with highs in the low 80s and winds out of the west-northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
A little patchy fog could form overnight once again and then more clouds and a chance of rain will develop for tomorrow. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will likely start to develop around midday in the far north on Wednesday and then move farther south and continue into the early evening. With more humid conditions and high temps in the upper 70s to low 80s, there will be enough energy in the air for a couple of stronger storms during the afternoon.
The storms on Wednesday will be driven by a cold front moving in from the north. This front will then cool things off a bit for Thursday and Friday. It will be a refreshing day on Thursday with a nice breeze out of the northwest and low humidity. High temps will reach the low to mid 70s. On Friday we should have a good amount of sun and highs in the mid 70s.
Over the weekend, a warm front moving up from the south could produce a few showers or a storm on Saturday and a slight chance of a few showers will linger into Sunday. We will have variable clouds over the weekend as well with highs in the 70s on Saturday and close to 80 on Sunday.
Have a super Tuesday! Meteorologist Justin Loew, 4:30 a.m. 6-August-2019
