LANGLADE COUNTY (WAOW) – Tom Knoble’s home in the Town of Langlade is buried under a mountain of trees.
“I am trying to get some of the brush cleared away some of the big stuff over here we will need a crane,” Tom Knoble said.
Not only is his yard a mess but he has no electricity.
There are miles and miles of downed trees and power lines.
Many businesses have temporarily closed due to the lack of power.
Lotter’s BP in Pickerel remained open–thanks to a back up generator.
“We have been extremely busy we are the only station that is open in the Pickerel area,” Lotter’s employee Danny Nicholson said.
Members of the Wisconsin National Guard arrived in the area to provide water to community members on Monday.
