Central Wisconsin man buys 5-millionth Harley Davidson motorcycle

ROTHSCHILD, Wis. (WAOW) — Bull Falls Harley-Davidson dealership in Rothschild recently acquired the 5-millionth Harley-Davidson motorcycle produced Harley’s vehicle operations facility in York, Pennsylvania.

Wayne Bartlett of Wisconsin Rapids had his mind made up on purchasing a used Harley-Davidson motorcycle from the dealership. But after a few test drives, Wayne fell in love with that new bike.

“I was looking for a used one,” Wayne Bartlett said. “I wasn’t even thinking about buying a new one.”

“He loved the ride of this new Heritage Classic and had to have that one,” Bull Falls Harley-Davidson Co-Owner Dixie Kinnard said. “Then we told him the news that it was the 5 millionth bike.”

“You know, I was pretty excited I was getting a new bike,” Bartlett added. “Even more excited it was a 2019, and then when they told me that… I was just like oh man this day just keeps getting better and better you know. I feel like I’m on cloud nine when I’m on the bike riding.”

“I think anybody that rides a Harley-Davidson or has ridden a Harley-Davidson understands that when you get out on the road… Stress is gone and you’re one with your machine,” Dixie Kinnard added.

Wayne was presented a framed picture as well as a Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations tour, and museum tickets.
