Fundraiser to be held for Weston bar shooting victim

Weston, WI — A fundraiser benefit has been scheduled to help the victim of a previously reported bar shooting with medical expenses.

According to a flyer for the fundraiser, the victim, 28 year old Dylan Worthen, spent weeks in the ICU, but is now recovering at home.

As a result of the shooting, Dylan has been through multiple intensive surgeries.

The release says he needed breathing tubes for over a week for a punctured lung, and had his spleen and part of his pancreas removed.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 29th at Trailside Sports Bar & Grill in Weston for a day of activities to help Dylan Worthen with his medical expenses.

Activities include a bag toss tournament starting at 3:00 pm. The cost is $30 per team.

In addition, there will be live entertainment, and tons of raffles including a “Keep ‘er Movin” basket from Charlie Berens of the Manitowac Minute.

All proceeds will be donated to Dylan’s recovery costs. Everyone is welcome to the event.
