This week’s Garden Goodies menu called for pan-fried shrimp with an oregano butter sauce.
News 9’s Chief Meteorologist Justin Loew used oregano from his garden to make the delicious dish.
Pan-fried shrimp with oregano butter sauce
Shrimp, butter, garlic (fresh if you have it), crushed red pepper flakes (just a dash or two), finely diced oregano (about 1/4 cup for 20 shrimp). Use varying amounts of ingredients depending on how much you like each one. Mix ingredients in a pan on medium heat and fry for about 2 or 3 minutes per side on the shrimp.
