Proud Theater-Wausau had a blast with color

Wausau, Wisc. (WAOW) On Saturday life got a bit colorful as members from Proud Theater-Wausau gathered by the Wisconsin River for a color blast.

The local L.G.B.T.Q.+ youth theater organization made multicolored t-shirts in preparation for their end of the year scene showcase.

“Transformations” will feature original scenes written by the local youth of Proud Theater, highlighting L.G.B.T.Q.+ activism through writing and performances. The show will also feature a variety of theatrical elements including songs, spoken word pieces, and even a drag performance by local drag queen Boston Marquette.

The showcase is May 31st at 7:30 pm on the second floor of the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau.
