Marathon County native has his art showcased at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum

WAUSAU (WAOW)– A Marathon County native is featured in the “Cut UP/Cut Out” exhibit in the gallery at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum.

Mark Wagner, who grew up in Edgar has two of his money collage pieces in the exhibit. One is titled Hello from Tokyo and the other Americans in Paris.

Having two of  his pieces showcased at what Wagner calls his “first museum” gives a chance for both his family and friends to see his work in person.

“A lot of them have known about the work for years, but only in picture form because when I come back to visit I don’t bring artwork along with me” Wagner said.

More information about the Wagner’s residency can be found here. Mark’s two pieces will be at the museum through June 2.
