WAUSAU (WAOW) — High school students take part in a hands-on learning experience at UW-Stevens Point at Wausau on Thursday.
It allows students to explore the business world.
“We randomly team up students in ‘companies’ to create new products,” Manager of Wisconsin Business World Michelle Grajkowski said.
The students develop business plans and also hold a mock trade show.
“I like that I can meet new people from other schools and brainstorm ideas,” Athens High School students Alexus Meza said.
The UWSP School of Business and Economics partners with the Wisconsin Business World to sponsor the event.
