Some Wisconsin politicians donate, withhold pay during shutdown

Wisconsin (WAOW) — U.S. Senator Ron Johnson is donating his pay to a Wisconsin charity during the partial government shutdown.

According to his deputy press secretary, he has done this during past shutdowns as well. They did not specify which charity.

Representative Sean Duffy says he is having his pay withheld as well. Representative Ron Kind is also not taking a paycheck.

Media contacts with Senator Tammy Baldwin say she is still getting paid.
