Minimum-security inmate escapes from Milwaukee correctional facility

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) — Police are searching for a minimum-security inmate, who authorities say escaped from Felmers Chaney Correctional Center in Milwaukee.

Authorities are searching for 50-year-old Clarence Saffold. He is described as a male, black, 5’10” tall, 210 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Saffold had been in custody since pleading guilty to a 2010 armed robbery charge, according to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access website, which also lists charges of burglary, and resisting arrest.

Anyone with information about where Saffold may be should immediately contact law enforcement.
