RIB MOUNTAIN, Wis. (WAOW) — Wednesday afternoon trick-or-treaters traveled to Rib Mountain for a “Trunk or Treat” event.
Rib Mountain Lutheran Church has hosted the event four years in a row now.
Volunteers bring their cars to the church parking lot with candy in the trunks. Children and parents walk from car to car, gathering the candy in efficient fashion.
The church pastor said over 100 people take part in the event and that it’s a safe way for kids to enjoy Halloween.
“Family friendly, safe,” said Pastor Tim Swanson. “You can bring your kids here and in 5 minutes you can hit 20 houses or so and be on your way to the next bit of fun on Halloween.”
Helke Funeral Home brought a hearse to the event.
